Warsaw Improvisers Orchestra
The Warsaw Improvisers Orchestra was founded in 2013 on the initiative of Ray Dickaty, an English saxophonist living in Warsaw. The group is not only a musical ensemble but also an artistic platform, exploring the boundaries of peri-jazz improvisation. The formation has no fixed line-up; usually, its concerts are led by Dickaty. Over the years, it has included the likes of ambient visionary Antonina Nowacka, Polish free improv stalwarts like Patryk Zakrocki and Olgierd Dokalski or Tymon Bryndal and Natan Kryszk of the trio Pokusa.
