Szymon Kaliski
Szymon Kaliski creates experimental ambient music by deconstructing acoustic sounds; he combines lo-fi techniques with new digital technologies. He is constantly looking for individual methods of expression, using his own software and hardware. His works are deliberately filled with imperfections, full of crackles suspended in slowed sounds. His compositions always come from acoustic sounds – looped, broken and reconstructed. He has collaborated with Peter Broderick, Aaron Martin, Stefan Wesołowski, among others, and has also released many single tracks for compilations and special projects, such as Christopher Willitsa's remix and Kanshin compilation (Fluid Audio, 2011).
He has released three albums so far: From Scattered Accidents (Kitchen. Label, 2012), For Isolated Recollections (Hibernate, 2011), Out Of Forgetting (Audiobulb, 2010).
