Strotter Inst, born Christoph Hess, since 1999, the music of old, modified Lenco turntables, which controls the countless ways. Incredible combination of mechanical equipment and electronics, creating dense soundscapes, loops, beats and multilayered beats. Music Christoph Hess is closer to anti-electronic duo Pan Sonic or the minimalism of Steve Reich, than to experimental music on turntables players such as Eric, Philip Jeck or Christian Marclay. The roots of his music not found in improvisation, but in industrial, avant-garde electronic and electroacoustic composition. Christoph Hess is also a member of the 1995 post-industrial band Herpes Ö DeLuxe. He worked with Sudden Infant, Maya and other Ratko and as Strotter Inst played throughout Europe, China, Russia, the United States, Japan and Bolivia.
