Ruel

Sydney-born Ruel, who lives in London, is what is called a true natural. "When I heard his voice for the first time, I almost lost consciousness!", says his discoverer M-Phazes, producer of Eminem, Kimbra and Daniel Johns. With his help, the just 15-year-old singer and guitarist became famous first in Australia overnight, currently he conquers Britain. His first three singles, Don't Tell Me, Dazed & Confused and Younger, all went up in the Australian charts, as did the debut EP Ready, released in mid-June.

It emerged early on that Ruel, born in October 2002, has a special musical talent. While still in elementary school, he received guitar and singing lessons and emerged as a child with a rare, intense gift for emotionally charging his vocals. During the following years he wrote songs and trained his skills as a street musician on Sydney's beach promenades.

In 2015, the then 12-year-old sent a demo of a cover version of the James Bay hit Let It Go to Grammy-acclaimed producer M-Phazes, who was thrilled at the moment. Together they recorded his first professional song, the Golden Years ballad, which reached over half a million YouTube plays within 48 hours and has since been clicked many thousands of times a day. Since the end of 2017, Ruel released three songs from his first EP as a single, each one was a great success in Australia and New Zealand. All topped by a stellar appearance at the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games in April.

Ruel's talent for blending pop and soul is preserved in a special way by his producer M-Phazes, who is equally well-trained in hip-hop, R'n'B, rock and pop. In this duo, a team was found, the Ruel successively builds up to a special new star, whose youth you immediately forget, as soon as you hear this mature voice.
