José González

José González is a silent voice that speaks loudly. He enchanted British listeners with a sleek, damp, classical pop-folk pop album called Veneer in 2005, which sold 430,000 copies in Britain. Two years later, he released the album In Our Nature with another dive into Jose's influences (Argentinean folklore, the folk tradition of the 1960s in the US, and the British pastoral pop folk of the same period). The album went to the UK Top 10 and Top 20. He released two albums with the Junip group, and went on a tour with the Berlin / Göteborg String Theory orchestra in 2011, introducing 11 remakes of his songs. In 2013, Hollywood approached him, and Ben Stiller asked José to work with Theodore Shapiro on the film about his version of The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. José also contributed the song This is How We Walk On The Moon to the charity project Red Hot in honor of Arthur Russell.
