Joke Lanz

Swiss musician and performer Joke Lanz is most famous for his project jednočlennému Sudden Infant and membership Schimpfluch Gruppe, probably the most radical art group in Switzerland since 1916, when it was the birthplace of Dadaism. The focus of his work lies at the intersection of experimental music and performance art. For its production, numbering tens of recordings and the amount of cooperation (eg Z'ev, Carlos Giffoni, Peter Kowald, Daniel Mench, Christian Marclay, Eric, Dieb13 or DJ Olive) is relevant personal, expressive and physical character, but also based on from many cultural and subcultural sources mainly 20th century, such as punk, Actionism, Fluxus, industrial, noise, free improvisation, new classical music, body art, sound poetry and DJing. It Lanzův experimental turntablism will be in Prague Czech premiere of his performances. While the performance of Sudden Infant true that all the instruments used are just an extension of performerova body and multiplying its physical manifestation in the form of a kind of extreme post-industrial chanson, Lanz turntable production captures the hybrid genre label that seems joy for music journalists invented himself a musician, "musique concrète industrial ".
