Jazzanova’s music has deep roots in wood jazz or soul, but they combine these styles with electronic music and hip hop as well as fascination with Latin America. This unique mix adds timeless quality to their recordings and are enjoyed by music gourmets who will not let
restrict themselves with any strict classifications. Over 13 years of existence, Jazzanova has brought elegance and precise musicality in club music, and in turn, borrowed sensitivity for dance rhythms.
If the Jazzanova team was known mainly by the remixes of the late nineties (4Hero, Ursula Rucker and Lenny Kravitz), the debut album In Between in 2002 made them a non-crowned nu-jazz king. Their obsession with hunters of obscure vinyls has transformed into original music that is as much precise as seductive. But Jazzanova never stands in one place. The last album Of All Things was recorded almost without the use of samples in collaboration with studio musicians.
