IPFW Symphonic Wind Ensemble
The Indiana University – Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) Symphonic Wind Ensemble is the premiere wind band at IPFW. The ensemble is comprised of the university’s finest wind and percussion students performing cornerstone literature ranging from the Renaissance to tomorrow. Continuously collaborating with leading musical minds of today, the IPFW Symphonic Wind Ensemble has worked with composers including Pulitzer Prize-winner William Bolcom, David Maslanka, John Mackey, Joel Puckett, Ryan Nowlin, Viet Cuong, StevenBryant, and Michael Markowski, among others.
