About Castro Moore
Portuguese-American born in Amsterdam, Castro-Moore works as an architect in Berlin in order to blow away his salary on amazing records. On weekends he works at the infamous Sound Metaphors record store in Kreuzberg: sometimes as plant therapist, maintaining the shop’s exquisite flora while listening to an its unique record selection, sometimes as a buyer going on rare african record hunting expeditions. Upon releasing his extended 7:52 re-edit of John Cage’s 4:33 he was offered a residency at Motel Campo in Geneva where he co-organizes the H.A.N.D. - Have A Nice Day parties.
