Berke Can Özcan
Berke Can Özcan is a drummer from Istanbul. Musician o an incredibly wide image and passion for sound. He worked as producer, music director and composer in many projects film. In addition to the drum set, he is interested in creating sounds from everyday objects, such as terracotta pots, caps, brooms, wooden shoe racks, and an old washing machine. In the creation of sound landscapes, he also uses tape recorders, samplers, field recorders and vinyl players. Big Beats Big Times is an open project based on improvisation and interaction, which includes outstanding percussionists such as Kenny Wollesen (John Zorn, Bill Frisell), Erland Dahlen (Nils Petter-Molvaer, Stian Westerhus & Pale Horses), Steve Nistor (Brian Blade's Mama Rosa Band, Daniel Lanois), Jack Irons (Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers), Craig Santiago (New Zion Trio), Arto Tunçboyacıyan (Armenian Navy Band), Blair Sinta (Alanis Morissette) and John J. Holden.
