Baest
The Danish outfit Baest, active since 2015, plays old-school death metal, with influences from Bloodbath, Grave, Entombed and Dismember. The band – whose name means “beast” in Danish, reflecting their Boss HM-2-heavy sound – signed to Century Media in 2018; they have since released three studio albums on the popular label.
In 2018 they debuted with Danse macabre, followed by Venenum (2019) and Necro Sapiens in 2021.
