Arek Skolik is a Polish drummer, jazz composer and arranger, named the title of the "best drummer of the year" by the monthly magazine Gitara Basa i Bębny. For many years he has been a leading figure in the Jazz Forum magazine's poll as a jazz drummer. He belongs to the group of musicians who do not chase innovation, but rather inscribe themselves with their energy and temperament in the jazz tradition.
