With more than 1 million visitors per year, the Pergamon Museum is one of the most frequented houses of the State Museums. Through the reconstructions of significant archaeological architectural ensembles, visitors are visually reminded of antiquity.

From the market gate of Miletus, a masterpiece of Roman architecture, you can get through the Ishtar Gate with the processional road from Babylon to the Museum of the Ancient Near East. In the Museum of Islamic Art upstairs is the partially decorated Mschatta façade of a Jordanian desert residence. The halls of the Hellenistic architecture and the Pergamon Altar are currently being renovated.

Google Arts & Culture provides virtual access to Pergamon Museum, which can be explored through online exhibitions and 360 degree views.
