Cancelled: Anna Zaradny + Alvin Curran: In Dialogue With Jewish Cantors

Sound-spatial installations inspired by the singing of Jewish cantors.

The authors reached for the achievements of oratorio singers who accompany rabbis during religious practices and mourners during funeral ceremonies. Two representatives of sound art - the field of art where sound is the main means of artistic expression - were invited to dialogue with the singing of cantors. The sound-spatial installations will be presented by Anna Zaradny and Alvin Curran – composers, performers, improvisers. The vernissage of the works will end with a concert of Anna Zaradny.
