Alloy
Alloy is the melting pot of five musicians, an alloy that is strong and yet flexible. They play original compositions by the Berlin trombonist Marleen Dahms, which sound atmospheric, filigree, loud and dirty. The winds sometimes merge as a unit to form a melody, are sometimes interwoven, or stand for themselves as powerful soloists, while the rhythm group weighs and heats up the music. They are united by the urge to play, they got to know each other while studying jazz. They have been playing together in this constellation since 2020.
