All That Remains to Be Seen

Bullying at school and frequent feelings of loneliness – as a child Christina had to deal with both. Little Silas’s hereditary disease is robbing him of contact with his surroundings faster than she expected, so she decides to take him on a trip to Iceland and give him a glimpse of the breathtaking scenery while there is still time. She teaches him that he can navigate the world using his hearing and touch, and her son is her support when travelling through the busy city. Christina escapes from her everyday worries through her passion for dancing. The film depicts an extraordinary relationship between a mother and son whose way of life challenges commonly held preconceptions about the lives of blind and visually impaired people.
