Pop, R'n'B | Alicia Keys is an American soul and R&B singer, producer and songwriter. She rose to fame in 2001 with her hit Fallin', which catapulted to number one on the charts in several countries. She received a Grammy in 2002 for the categories of Best Newcomer, Best R&B Album, Song of the Year and Best R&B Vocal Performance by a Female. The album Songs in A Minor sold over 6.2 million copies worldwide.
In 2003, the album The Diary of Alicia Keys was released. She scored her second number one hit together with Usher with the duet My Boo. Together with White Stripes frontman Jack White, Alicia Keys recorded the theme song Another Way to Die to the James Bond song Quantum of Solace in 2008.
