Agents of Time
The Italian act Agents of Time was formed in 2013; originally a trio, it currently comprises two members, Andrea Di Ceglie and Luigi Tutolo, whose melodic take on techno has eventually veered into progressive house territory. Their touring career was kickstarted by the release of a 2014 12-inch on Correspondent, the minimal cut Polina; they have since become a permanent fixture of European club music, eventually signing to the genre stalwart Kompakt, who released their second and most recent LP Universo in 2022. The Agents are notable for generally favoring live shows over DJ sets, using a hardware-heavy setup to create raw, improvisational music that borrows from house, techno and acid.
