Adam Żuchowski is a contrabass player, composer and arranger. He graduated from the Academy of Music in Gdańsk. With Dominik Bukowski he co-founded the Blue Mind Quartet, with which he won the Aniołek Jazzowy during the Bielska Zadymka Jazzowa in 2002. He is a member of Irek Wojtczak’s bands, Joanna Knitter Blues&Folk Connection. She also cooperates with Mikołaj Trzaska (with whom he recorded music for W. Smarzowski’s films), and with other musicians of the improvised music scene in Poland and abroad. He has composed music for many theatrical performances, since 2002 he has worked with Agnieszka Osiecka Atelier Theatre in Sopot.
