64. Krakowskie Zaduszki Jazzowe: Inaugural Concert

The inaugural concert of the 64th edition of the Krakow Jazz All Souls' Day. In the first part, Krzysztof Kobyliński will perform together with Daniele Di Bonawentura. Krzysztof Kobyliński is a Polish jazz pianist, composer, leader and founder of the band KK Pearls, creator and artistic director of the Jazovia Culture Center in Gliwice as well as the Palm Jazz and Philharmonic festivals. Daniele di Bonaventura is a composer, arranger, pianist and bandoneonist. His work includes classical and contemporary music, from jazz to tango, from ethnic music to world music.

In the second part of the concert, Marek Napiórkowski will perform with the album Hipokamp. This album combines sophisticated jazz improvisations with the world of electronic sound structures and intriguing dialogues of percussion instruments. The premiere trio, based on the sounds of an electric guitar, various analog synthesizers (Jan Smoczyński) and stylishly sounding drums (Paweł Dobrowolski), Napiórkowski decided to enrich with the presence of an absolute jazz star - Mino Cinelu, probably the most titled drummer of our time.
