Zofia Nowakowska

She made her theatre debut in 2004 as Juliet in Janusz Józefowicz's and Janusz Stokłosa's musical Romeo and Juliet. Between 2004 and 2010 she cooperated with the Studio Buffo theatre in Warsaw. She took part in such performances as Ukochany kraj_, Tyle miłości, Wieczór Włoski, Wieczór francuski, Wieczór Rosyjski, or Hity Buffo.  She also played the lead role in the musical Metro. In 2006 she played the role of the young Marie Antoinette in the opera Ça Ira, written by bassist and Pink Floyd band leader Roger Waters. Since 2014, she has been working with the Roma Musical Theatre in Warsaw, where she starred in the show Alemusicale, Mamma Mia (Sophie), Pilots (Nina) and Aida (Amneris). She played the role of Jenny in the musical Waitress.  She also cooperates with dubbing studios. Her credits include a role in the Polish version of the Disney film Zaczarowana. She sang the vocal parts of the main character – Princess Giselle. Her voice can also be heard in the film Muppets (Mary's songs), The Lion King (Nala) and in the series Elena of Avalor where she dubbed the title princess Elena. Since 2007 she has been working as a soloist with Piotr Rubik with whom she has recorded such albums as Habitat, Rubik One, Santo Subito – cantobiography of John Paul II and Describing the World. In 2017, she was among the 4 finalists of the seventh edition of the Polsat TV show Twoja Twarz Brzmi Znajomo.
