Židovské komunitné múzeum

The Bratislava Jewish Community Museum was established on the initiative of the Bratislava Jewish Religious Community. The aim is to protect the cultural heritage and monument care of the synagogue building on Heydukova Street.

The permanent exhibition is located in the unused part of the synagogue in the area of the former women's gallery and the adjacent staircase. Judaica from the original Bárkány collection predominates among the exhibited objects, but objects donated by members of the Bratislava religious community are also installed, some of which are linked to the tragic period of the Holocaust.
