Zgniłość

Zgniłość is a new band of the Krakow poet Marcin Świetlicki and pianist Michał Wandzilak (Świetliki). They invited young jazzmen from the Tri-City to collaborate with them: saxophonist Michał Ciesielski and trumpeter Dawid Lipka (brass band Tymon Tymański), double bass player Maciej Sadowski and drummer Tomasz Kopra. Zgniłość hatched from the Jazztliki band playing jazz covers of the biggest hits of the Świetliki band. The current musical trajectory of Zgniłość could be described as postpostironic-postzimnofal-postsass. The composition boldly refers to the best Pomeranian and Krakow musical traditions.
