Wicked Dub Division
Radical modern and trance live dub with a strong female element in the form of vocalist Michela Greny. Wicked Dub Division was formed in 2005 from the idea of GP Ennas (drums), King Claudio (bass) and Luca Venerus (keyboards). After a series of vinyl singles produced for the soundsystem scene, they released their first album entitled Wadada in 2011. The arrival in 2014 of Michela Grena, previously vocalist of B.R. Stylers and Massimiliano Peak, marked a new starting point. After their first experience with The Rootical Dub Session, a tribute to the beginnings of dub reggae, Wicked Dub Division released the album Dub Drops in 2015. They also achieved many important goals at that time: they performed on many stages in Italy and beyond (including Rototom Sunsplash in Spain), opened shows for Twinkle Brothers, Dub Inc and 99 Posse. They won the critics' prize in the Italian Amnesty International competition "Voices for Freedom" for their song New Slavery.
