Warsaw Music Week is a modern city festival presenting talented artists from Poland and abroad as well as clubs and concert halls in Warsaw. The initiative was created in 2009 thanks to cooperation of the Good Music Productions Agency with the City of Warsaw and Liverpool Music Week in Warsaw’s efforts to become the European Capital of Culture 2016. And although Warsaw has not won the title, it has gained a new festival which will have its 8th edition this year.
Warsaw Music Week hosted more than 90 foreign artists and 150 Polish artists performed in more than 25 clubs and concert halls in Warsaw. 2017 edition will showcase the publications that have not yet been presented at the festival, such as Brennnessel, Agora Publishing House or Fonobo. There are two new music venues on the map of Warsaw: Grizzly Bar and BARdzo. For the second time in a row their artists from an unusual and rich catalog will present Requiem Records. Absolute premiere will be the showcase signed by the Vevo music television channel.
