Vratislav Kříž
Vratislav Kříž is a graduate of the Prague Conservatory. In the years 1987–2010, after four years of working at the State Theatre in Ústí nad Labem, he was engaged as a soloist of Prague’s National Theatre Opera. He has created here a number of distinct world opera roles, among them: Posa (Verdi: Don Carlos), Enrico (Donizetti: Lucia di Lammermoor), the title role of Mozart’s Don Giovanni, Tchaikovsky’s Tomsky (The Queen of Spades), the title role of Eugene Onegin, Libuše_, The Secret, The Kiss by Smetana, in Janáček‘s Jenůfa etc.
