Volume Sphere

VolumeSphere is a representative of the most recent wave of young talent emerging on the Czech scene. Thanks to the strong influence of older generations, especially the Endless Illusion label, he was quickly acquainted with an unorthodox approach to music, and started appearing at clubs and parties around Prague.

His selection spans genres and styles, but he’s most comfortable flicking through tracks infused with an old-school spirit. While his solo performances stand on their own, he is usually seen in the DJ booth with his inseparable partner DeSteffan, playing one of their never-disappointing back to back sets.

Since 2018 VolumeSphere, together with DeSteffan, has been arranging irregular streaming events under the umbrella of Radio Laude. The radio station, now developed into an interdisciplinary operation, has been regularly broadcasting from the premises of Planeta Za till 2021. As a radio curator and operator he has embarked on a mission to connect the local scene with the wider world.
