Viktor Stocker
Viktor Stocker first encountered the accordion at the age of six, and it has been a part of his life ever since. He is currently studying at the Janáček Conservatory in Ostrava under Dr. Marcin Jabłoński.
He has won more than fifty competitions both at home and abroad. He became the first accordionist in history to be a laureate of the prestigious international Concertino Praga competition, where he won 2nd prize in the finals, the Audience Award, and a number of special awards, including the prize for the most successful Czech participant. His other notable achievements include victories at the World Open Online Music Competition, Danubia Talents Budapest, and the Vivo International Music Competition in New York, as well as first-place finishes at accordion competitions in Vilnius, Poprad, Vienna, and Przemyśl.
In addition to his competition successes, he has also made a name for himself on concert stages. As a soloist, he has performed with the Czech Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Karlovy Vary Symphony Orchestra at the Rudolfinum, and has also appeared at a number of renowned festivals, such as Dvořák Prague, the South Bohemian Concertino Praga Festival, Hudba Znojmo, and Zlatá Pecka. In 2026, he will make his debut as a soloist with the Sinfonieorchester Wuppertal in Germany. He collaborates with prominent figures on the Czech music scene and regularly appears in Czech Radio projects.
