Tymek Papior
Tymek Papior - percussionist, multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer. He started at the age of 7 playing the button accordion in music school, but as a result of his passion for percussion, he changed his main instrument and graduated from high school as a classical percussionist. At the age of 16, he started playing gigs with top musicians, rotating mainly in jazz circles, first as a sideman and later also as leader of his own quartet, with which he opened the 26th edition of the Jazz Jantar festival. As a result of his interest in experimental electronic music and production, he began to perform solo, using prepared percussion and electronics. In 2023 he released a solo EP Wind EP and a single Truffles Attack with Wują HZG on the album Portraits 2 released by Uknowmerecords. In 2024 the duo album Lumbago (Tymek Papior, Wuje HZG) of the same name was released.
