Johannesburg-based Tyla unveiled her first single Getting Late in 2019. Subsequent tracks, Overdue, Been Thinking and To Last, were followed by a breakthrough on a global scale with the international hit Water, which hit Top 10 sales in 16 countries - including the UK, US, Australia, New Zealand and Sweden, amassing over 600 million streams.
