Tribute to Ronnie James Dio

The Ronnie James Dio Memorial on the open-air stage of Krakow's Garage Pub.

This is the 8th edition of the memorial dedicated to one of the greatest rock and metal vocalists. Ronnie James Dio - lead singer of Black Sabbath, Rainbow, Elf and DIO - died in 2010 due to cancer. It was Ronnie who sang such timeless anthems as Stargazer, Heaven and Hell, and - composed in the band he founded, DIO - Holy Diver, and Rainbow in the Dark. Ronnie has become an inspiration for entire generations of musicians - from those just starting out on the scene to old-timers like Metallica or Iron Maiden. Since 2014, on the initiative of the band Scream Maker, Polish musicians have been paying musical tribute to him. The core team of the memorial includes musicians from Scream Maker, White Highway, Another Pink Floyd and MadRise. The concert will also feature guest vocalists.
