Tomáš Průša Band
Tomáš Průša is a lyricist and singer moving on the border of genres connected with guitars - rock folk, blues but also country, built on lyrics able to appeal to the listener with their authenticity and believability.
“Someone writes a diary, someone takes pictures, someone paints. I write down my life experiences in lyrics. I started singing them when I learned to play the guitar a bit. My first 'serious' lyric was in 1987 when I was still at school. It was a tramp song and I used to play it to my friends on tramps.” From this fun, the folk project Máta was born, which had its first concert in 1993 in Tábor. In 2013, the band Rock Folk People was formed, then Andband. Tomáš Průša recorded an album with each of them. Since 2019, however, it is just Tomáš Průša Band, which also has a chamber form of a duo or trio.
