Tomáš Mika Trio

Tomáš Mika is one of the youngest generation of Czech jazz scene (currently studying third year at the College of Jaroslav Jezek) and his newly formed clusters mainly deals with modern interpretations of jazz standards. Among the essential elements with which the trio works include spontaneous improvisation, communication between members and work with the space. Guitar um Tomas Mika and combines the traditional concept of a jazz guitar based on the style of Django Reinhardt, modern jazz harmony practices and the principles of free improvisation.
