Pokáč

Pokáč, real name Jan Pokorný (born 25 July 1990 in Prague), is a Czech singer-songwriter and lyricist playing guitar and ukulele. His lyrics often deal with themes of ordinary life.

Pokáč was born in 1990, and some 19 years later, he released his first demo album Pekáč (2009), and two years later he released his demo album Pokák (2011). These were his first steps as a singer-songwriter. A few more years later he teamed up with a musician and songwriter who calls himself Voxel. Aside from writing all his songs, he also composed a few songs that they recorded together as Voxel & Pokáč, such as Tomorrow is a Day Too and Ekosong. During his musical career, for example, he has opened for Tomáš Klus, toured the Czech Republic with Voxel, played at the O2 Arena for about 15,000 people, etc.
