Jiří Smrž

George Morel is a Czech folk singer and poet. He started in the group Belltower in the early 70th 20th century, then played in a duo with George blacksmith. In the 80 years, wrote lyrics for groups here and there Minnesengři (he was briefly a member of this group), in 2001 released the first solo album Hereditary blood, he chose the songs from his previous dozen years. For his second album, Last Love, which was released four years later, won in the category Angel Folk & Country. He is also co-author of a folk oratorio Queen northern jams and author of poetry collections Euridice in the coal mine.
