Masha The Rich Man is a Jewish Ukrainian singer-songwriter whose cinematic folk-pop is like a warm hug to oneself through which one can dream oneself into a better world.
In the bittersweet song His Rebel Heart she processes the move from Ukraine to Germany in 1999 and the relationship with her brother, who has always been allowed to be rebellious. She swears: I can be as wild as he can be!.
