LuckySings

Starting out in Nigeria, Lucky went from amateur rapping to singing; started writing songs instead of poems and even taught himself to play a broken guitar in total darkness during a blackout at a friend’s apartment. Lucky continued honing his skills, adding piano and ukulele to his collection of instruments. His potential as a musician started its true growth during his first stay in the Czech Republic as an exchange student. While never really supported back home, Czech’s showed a warmer attitude towards his music. They were intrigued, excited; and so was Lucky. The man who suffered from stammering during his whole youth and used to sing out words to battle with the disorder; the man who only ever sang in a shower was all of a sudden out there at his first ever show performing a song he wrote together with his friend Marek Fischer. At a real stage and in front of people who liked what they heard. All the support was an important trigger for him; the walls he was hiding behind slowly started crumbling down and he got a new impulse for creating his music. Since then Lucky is on the rise. He settled in Brno, staying in the city for 6 years now while fully pursuing his musical career. In 2016, he formed the LuckySings band; two years later, in 2018, he made an appearance in the Česko Slovensko má talent-show. During that time he also became the frontman of the Where Are We Now band and performed at the Colours of Ostrava, Rock for People and Sázavafest music festivals.
