Atena
Beginning by spending their teenage years playing gigs in the local scene with a number of line-up changes, Athena began to gain recognition with the single Firstborn, which helped them make a name for themselves and led them to gigs outside their hometown of Drammen, Norway. In 2014, the band had the opportunity to embark on several European tours and release the album Shades of Black, which received impressive reviews from around the world, including from Metalhammer UK/NO and Scream Magazine among others. In 2017, Athena signed to Indie Recordings, a label they still work with today and where they have already released three albums – Possessed in 2017, Drowning Regret & Lungs Filled With Water in 2020 and Subway Anthem in 2023.
