Élektra

The creative team of Divadlo v Dlouhé Hana Burešová and Štěpán Otčenášek is coming back to basics ten years after the premiere of Seneca's Phèdre, bringing Électra back on the scene.

The inspiration by the story of Electra, the daughter of a Greek commander in Trojan wars Agamemnón, can be found in many art pieces throughout the history, as even centuries later, Sofokles’s drama still provokes many discussions about violence, guilt, revenge or justice.
