The Vanjas
The Vanjas ist ein Rock 'n' Roll Quartett aus Stockholm. Ihre Musik lässt sich als ein Mix aus Girlgroup-Sound, Doo-Wop, 50er und 60er Jahre R'n B' und Punk beschreiben. Herauszuhören sind Einflüsse der Ramones, Tina Turner, Shangri-Las und Lavern Baker. Die Band rund um Frontfrau Vanja Lo veröffentlichte 2011 ihre erste EP 4 Raw Cuts, die zweite, No Tomorrow Boy, folgte 2015. Dazwischen kam das Album Sings and Plays Rock 'n' Roll (2014) auf den Markt.
