The Playground
The Playground is the largest toy store in Prague, located at Na Příkopě 14 in Prague.
A selection of different attractions can be found under one roof on more than 4,500 m². The Playground offers a 100 m² mirrored labyrinth with light and sound effects, a photo booth with a green screen or an arcade where participants take a journey through Jurassic Park. In addition, The Playground features the Papilonia Butterfly House with a temperature of 28 °C and up to 600 colourful butterflies from different parts of the world. You can also have fun with 4 virtual reality games – Golem from 16th century Prague, the scary Arachnoid, the cooperative adrenaline game Last Stand or the interactive Meet the Dinosaurs. There is also a café and refreshments on the first floor, from which visitors can slide down a large slide to the ground floor.
The rebrand from the original British Hamleys to the new Czech concept The Playground took place at the end of 2023.
