The Low Anthem
The Low Anthem ist eine US-amerikanische Indie-/Folk-Band. Sie wurde 2016 von Ben Knox Miller und Jeff Prystowsky gegründet. Das aktuelle Lineup besteht aus of Ben Knox Miller (Gesang, Gitarre, Trompete, Säge), Jeff Prystowsky (Gesang, Schlagzeug, Bass, Synthies), Bryan Minto (Gesang, Gitarre, Harmonika) und Florence Grace Wallis (Violine, Gesang).
Bis zum heutigen Tag haben The Low Anthem fünf Studioalben geschrieben und produziert: What The Crow Brings (2007), Oh My God, Charlie Darwin (2008), Smart Flesh (2011), Eyeland (2016) und The Salt Doll Went to Measure the Depth of the Sea (2018).
Für ihren persönlichen, handwerklich komplexen Sound und ihre Liebe zu ungewöhnlichen Musikinstrumenten und Arrangements wurde die Band vom Mojo Magazine zum Newcomer des Jahres 2012 gekürt.
