The Howling Eye combines rocking drums, fat bass, massive riffs and guitar melodies not of this earth to create a unique strain of psychedelic rock. Their sound is an explosive mix of the emotional tales of All Them Witches, the kaleidoscopic fantasies of King Gizzard and the energetic playing of Elder. The band experiments with psychedelic rock, infusing it with elements of stoner/doom metal, krautrock and jazz.
