The DAT
Based in Prague, Czech Republic, Mickey Price and Johnnie Floyd formed The Dat in 2013 after 2 years of collaboration during which they explored and experimented with music genres outside of their hip-hop backgrounds. The Dat sound embraces the fundamental elements of hip hop, soul, funk, rock, electronic music and blues, to name a few. Johnnie Floyd and Mickey Price tailor each song with funk inspired bass-lines, soulful piano progressions and an array of synths, brass and percussive instruments over groovy drum beats.
