teige
Teige are an alternative pop band based in Prague. Having expanded from their original three-piece line-up to a five-piece, they released their debut album, Květiny nonstop, in autumn 2025. The album earned the band – originally from Kutná Hora – a nomination for ‘Discovery of the Year’ at the Vinyla Music Awards and was well received by music critics.
In their music, Teige reflect on the period between late adolescence and the expectations of life beyond their small hometown. The Czech lyrics are complemented by a melancholic soundscape that blends synth pads with guitar lines and distinctive female vocals.
The core of the band consists of the songwriting duo Veronika Sirotková (vocals, keyboards) and Adam Sirotek (guitar, vocals). Teige’s line-up also includes Dominika Albrechtová (vocals, keyboards), Mikuláš Bébr (bass guitar) and Lukáš Brabec (drums).
