Teatr Muzyczny im. Danuty Baduszkowej

The Danuta Baduszkowa Musical Theatre in Gdynia was established on 18 May 1958 and almost from the beginning it has been one of the most important cultural institutions in the region. It is currently the biggest musical theatre in Poland, which in just over 60 years of existence has prepared hundreds of premieres: musicals, operettas, musical performances, ballet, cabaret, fairy tales, concerts and chamber performances. It went down in the history of Polish theatre thanks to such titles as: Jesus Christ Superstar, Fiddler on the Roof, Les Miserables, Evita, Hair, Chicago, Lalka, Shrek, Chłopi, Notre Dame de Paris, or The Witcher, thus becoming a cultural landmark of Pomerania, recognised in the whole country.
