SuperSam +1: Alexander von Schlippenbach + Wacław Zimpel

Von Schlippenbach is one of the leaders of free jazz bands in Europe, and the music he creates combines elements of free and contemporary classics. His violent solos often create a bridge between these elements in his compositions. Wacław Zimpel is a multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer. He is inspired by jazz as well as electronics, minimalism and root music from various corners of the world. In his music he destroys the boundaries to create a completely new musical language. He perfected playing on brass instruments, including clarinet and khaen (a variation of the oral accordion from Laos). "SuperSam +1" is a series of master performances. There are recognized Polish and foreign artists focused on authoring, experimental and innovative activities. "Sam" in the title says about the solo performance."+ 1" – means that every evening is crowned with a duet performance. In most cases, artists meet on stage for the first time.
