Sunshine
Rock, Alternative/Indie | Sunshine or sometimes also shortly Suns is a Czech indie rock band founded in 1994 in Tábor. Shortly after its inception, the members travelled to the USA, where they were recording records and touring. While their fame was growing abroad, in the Czech Republic they were somewhat a controversial group. Almost under every mention of Sunshine that appeared on the Internet, a flamboyant debate broke down: whether they were traitors or heroes. Despite this, they still remain one of the leading Czech guitar groups. They have performed hundreds of concerts in the USA, England, Germany, France, Russia and in 2003 and 2007, even in Japan. In 2006, they supported Depeche Mode in Bratislava. From 2015, the band appears to be inactive, although they have never officially split up.
