Sum 41 + special guests: The Hara + Beauty School Dropout

Sum 41 is returning to the Czech Republic for the official afterparty of this year’s Rock for People – on June 12th, they will perform an open-air show at the Výstaviště Brno. They will also be joined by the bands The Hara and Beauty School Dropout.

Canadian punk-rock band led by Deryck Whibley have, since their formation in 1996, released 7 studio albums, and the next one, the eighth (this time a double album) Heaven and Hell, is, according to the band’s information, “almost here and will return to their honest pop-punk roots”. Band has more than 15 million album sales worldwide, a Grammy nomination, two awards, and seven Juno Awards nominations, Kerrang! Award, as well as several Alternative Press Music Awards.

The Hara is an alternative/rock band comprising the frontman Josh Taylor, guitarist Zack Breen and drummer Jack Kennedy. The band debuted in 2017, with the music video for Only Young, which gained significant popularity while the band was still looking for their sound.

Beauty School Dropout with mentoring from blink-182’s Mark Hoppus and support from Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz, simply sounds like the „pop punk you’ll remember from the good old days“. In a pretty short period they were able to release EP Boys Do Cry and just in 2023 they have released their debute album We Made Plans & God Laughed which also contains track Almost Famous with mentioned Mark Hoppus.
