Still House Plants

Drawing on guitar, drums and vocals, trio Still House Plants have created fractious and sharp music with a melting pop heart. Combining elements of sampling, slow core and repetition, the trio have developed a sound that continually breaks down and reconnects. Their latest album Fast Edit, released through Blank forms and Bison, was created using mobile phones, voice recorders, laptop recordings from rehearsals, interviews and live performances to create a collage of different fidelities and sonic spaces. Things sit on top of each other, fall on top of each other or click into place, with hearts on their sleeves and ghosts in motion.
